The building housing The Dracula Experience has an interesting history.

It is first documented in 1641 when it was leased to Issac Newton by Sir Hugh Chomley for 1000 years.

It later became The Captain’s Reading Rooms, where Ships Captains could read the London papers and identify future cargoes.

There was also good food and wine as well as other pleasures to be had in the building.
